This was a tool that we created to help our kids learn the days of the week and eventually added the month and date to it. It is our daily routine to ask the younger kids what day it is along with the date, we have them repeat this to us multiple times in the day. This just helps the kids visualize it better especially with our weekdays being color coordinated with our home school kid’s work basket of the day.

With this downloadable resource, you receive 13 pages including brief instructions, days of the week, months, date digits 1-31, and 3 reusable background templates. The days, months, and digits are all in outline form to be decorated or colored however you or your children would like it. After decorating, cut them out, and use them however you would like. Some suggestions would be to make them into flashcards by gluing them to card stock, posting to a calendar on bulletin board, cork board, white board, or anything else. For best results, laminate before repeated use.
